1.  This one’s for my friend Calai who’s been asking for some Dune news for, like, forever: Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights, The Kingdom, the upcoming Hancock) has confirmed that he will indeed direct the remake for Paramount, which is set for a 2010 release.

 

2. Speaking of Paramount, the Hollywood giant and Sam Raimi are teaming up to re-kindle the Jack Ryan franchise. And although I liked The Sum of All Fears, I’m pretty sure they won’t be asking for Ben Affleck back. You guys got any ideas as to who would make a good Jack Ryan?

 

3. Look! It’s Harry, Hermione, and Ron! Reading and shit!
