Trailer Tuesday: Step Brothers (Red Band!) Also, Choke.
May 27, 2008For those of you who may not know, I, Cinemabuzz Writer Guy, recently forayed outside of my family’s businesses, which means that I now have a real job. A job that requires actual jobbing. Hence the lack of updates on this here site.
Speaking of which, wouldn’t it be cool if we all wore edible pants? Not only will I have something ready to eat when I’m hungry while commuting, I shall also have a perennial excuse for not wearing any pants. Like if someone asks "Why aren’t you wearing any pants? And why are you takin— Dude, don’t put that in your mouth, seriousl— Dude that’s your underwear, come on." I’d be all like "SHUT UP THEY’RE EDIBLE."
Anyways, here be the red band trailer for Step Brothers, which reunites the Talladega Nights cohorts - Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. This probably my second most favorite trailer of the year so far, next to the one for The Foot Fist Way.

Napoleon Dynamite Creators Round Up a Conchord, Zaphod Beeblebrox, and Stifler’s Mom for “Gentlemen Broncos”
March 18, 2008It was announced yesterday that Jennifer Coolidge, best known for her work in the American Pie series as Stifler’s cougar mother, has joined Sam Rockwell (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Matchstick Men), Jemaine Clement (Eagle Vs. Shark, TV’s Flight of the Conchords), and Michael Angarano (Snow Angels, TV’s Will & Grace) in Jared and Jerusha Hess’s new film, Gentlemen Broncos.
The plot revolves around Angarano’s character, a high school student who discovers that his idea has been ripped off by a famous novelist, played by Clement. Rockwell appears as the book’s main character from both Angarano’s and Clement’s perspectives, while Coolidge will play the teen’s mother.
